Traditional Metal Braces

Traditional metal braces. This time-tested method involves using an adhesive to bond non-removable metal or clear brackets to a patient’s individual teeth. Those brackets are then linked with wires to gently move the patient’s teeth into their intended locations over a period of 6 to 24 months, on average.

Self-Ligating Braces

Using “self-ligating” technology, Damon® Smile is a form of braces that can be fitted on patients who desire straighter teeth with less force discomfort within a shorter length of time. Self-ligating braces also provide a patient with the advantage of eliminating the need for most tooth extractions before therapy starts.
